my goal for this year was to take black and whites and photos with my lomo diana f.

but the thing about me is that my photos are about the moment, so if i am walking and see something that stands out for me, my only instinct is to snap it.

all that being said, last night in freezing temps, i came upon this scene on the bridge at dearborn and wacker that i just could not resist because the colors were just so beautiful to me..

and while i am not the type who edits my pictures in any way, i.e. i don't crop them or fix/edit the colors, etc. i made this one exception and grayscaled this image so that i was somewhat following my own new rule {:-)

i have so many photos that i could post but i am in such an evolving place that i almost don't want to look back in a sense to post them.

so i think that i will let those memories lie for the moment and do some things new and different for 2010

i will start off by taking only black and whites and photos with my lomo diana camera.

the thought excites me..

if my work turns out half as exciting as the photodiarist's work then my goal will be achieved..
